The Meghalaya Basin Development Authority (MBDA) invites online applications under the Meghalaya Spring Rejuvenation and Sustainable Agroforestry (MeghSURE) project from eligible candidates for the following positions on a contractual basis. 1: Research Associate-III


Qualifications: Ph.D. in Science or Engineering subjects, or Master’s Degree in Engineering and Technology or equivalent with specialization in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Civil Engineering, Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Water Resource Management, Agricultural Engineering, Hydrology, Forestry, Earth Sciences, Geology, Geoinformatics, Disaster Management, Remote Sensing & GIS from a recognized university.


Experience & Skills: 3 years of experience in research, teaching, design, or development. At least one publication in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal is required. Candidates with higher/additional qualifications and research experience with published papers are preferred.


Requirement Skills:


Knowledge of Data Analysis Tools.


Knowledge of RS & GIS.

Monthly Remuneration: ₹67,000/- + HRA



 2: Senior Research Fellow


Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Science or Technology with specialization in Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Hydrology, RS-GIS, Forestry, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Water Resource Management, Hydrology, Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences, Geology, Geoinformatics, Disaster Management from a recognized university.


Experience & Skills: 2 years of experience in research and development.


Requirement Skills:


Knowledge of Data Analysis Tools.


Knowledge of RS & GIS.




Number of Post: 1


Monthly Remuneration: ₹42,000/- + HRA



 3: Junior Research Fellow


Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Science or Technology with specialization in Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Hydrology, RS-GIS, Forestry, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Water Resource Management, Earth Sciences, Geology, Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Remote Sensing and GIS, Disaster Management, Geoinformatics from a recognized university. Preferably with NET/GATE.


Experience & Skills:


Knowledge of RS/GIS.


Data Collection, Analysis, and manuscript development.


Project report writing and field visit experience.



Number of Positions: 1


Monthly Remuneration: ₹37,000/- + HRA



4: Senior Project Fellow


Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Science or Technology with specialization in Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Hydrology, RS-GIS, Forestry, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Water Resource Management, Earth Sciences, Geology, Disaster Management, Civil Engineering, Geoinformatics from a recognized university.


Experience & Skills:


Knowledge of RS/GIS.


Data Collection, Analysis, and manuscript development.


Project report writing and field visit experience.

Monthly Remuneration: ₹28,000/- + HRA

Research Associate-III: 40 years


Senior Research Fellow: 32 years


Junior Research Fellow & Senior Project Fellow: 28 years
