The Cyber Wing of Meghalaya Police invites online applications for the posts of Software Developer, Database Administrator, and UI/UX Developer on a contract basis. The last date for submission of applications is 25.03.2025.

Salary: ₹35,000/- per month

Age Limit: 21 to 35 years as of 01.01.2025.

Essential Qualification:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized university, with more than 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA.

Proficiency in:

Programming languages, especially PHP and JavaScript.

Database systems (SQL and NoSQL) with the ability to write complex and efficient queries (for the Database Administrator role).

Frameworks such as Laravel or .NET.

Strong foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms.

Modular and scalable app development.

API-based programming.

Version control systems like Git.

Testing frameworks and debugging tools.

Strong analytical abilities.

Job Rule

A software developer is responsible for developing web-based and Android applications, managing the codebase, and ensuring application security in compliance with CERT-IN guidelines.

A database administrator oversees the management of database servers, programs SQL queries, and ensures database security as per CERT-IN guidelines.

A UI/UX developer focuses on designing and developing the front end of web and Android applications while ensuring accessibility compliance.
